Celebrate Difference has developed the Enterprise Skills Programme to introduce the fundamentals of self-employment and enterprise through accessible, strengths-based learning.

Building a business or working for yourself can feel daunting, but with the right support, tools and a strong idea, it can provide a genuinely rewarding path to independence. Many young people face barriers to traditional employment, including social anxiety, low confidence, and increasing social and economic pressures. Without alternative pathways too many young people risk becoming disconnected from work, training and their wider community.

The Enterprise Skills Programme offers an alternative route. Learners begin with an introduction to enterprise, self-employment and inspiring case studies, before exploring their own ideas and developing them with dedicated support both in person or online. For many, this is the beginning of a sustainable business idea; for all, it builds confidence, practical skills and a stronger sense of what’s possible.
